Further Granada has many historical monuments and the province is one of the most important cultural and architectural places to visit in Southern Spain.
Visiting Granada you best park your rental car outside the city centre, and explore the city by foot. But apart from visiting Granada City, renting a car gives you the opportunity to visit the typical white villages nearby, the valleys of the Sierra Nevada or the Alpujarras where you can do great hikings. From Granada you can also easily visit other popular Andalusian cities like Malaga, Cordoba or Sevilla, which are relatively close by.
