Sevilla is transformed once again, into a mosaic of cultures thanks to the Festival of the Nations, a meeting between different cultures, as well as a demonstration of solidarity with the third world. The festival just started, on September 16th and will last until November 1st.
The event, as every year, is held in the Prado de San Sebastian and transforms its gardens into a fantastic outdoor stage, where you can enjoy all kinds of colourful and multicultural performances and which brings together cultural and artistic expressions of more than fifty nations from the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
Dining tents, exotic choreography, oriental dance, bachata competitions, Brasilian carnivals, magicians, puppets and clowns take over in the capital of Seville for a month. Join this festival of culture where everything is possible and every hour you can enjoy a refreshing performance!
Sunday´s mornings start with activities for children and during the afternoons we can join dance and choreography classes and enjoy dance performances: from oriental dancing to hip hop, flamenco and salsa; and see many famous musicals like Mary Poppins, Chicago, Bollywood, Grease, The Mask, tribute to Michael Jackson, tribute to ABBAHigh School, Flower Power, Singing in the rain, Holywoord Stars: Marilyn Monroe and Elvis, and much more. Further there are other shows, comedians, music, a Latino Talent night, musical groups, fashion shows, ending on November 1st with the Carnaval of the Nations, Brasil art and musicians of the festival.
